First State Bank Shannon-Polo-Lake Carroll offers a Debit Card (ShazamChek®) through the Shazam® Network. It is a product of Visa, therefore can be used worldwide at any merchant that accepts the Visa® debit card. These cards do not incur debt, rather the amount of the transaction comes directly from your checking account like a check. The details of the transaction appear on your monthly statement. It is important for you to deduct the amount of your purchase from your checkbook balance.
Your ATM card will provide quick and convenient access to your money at locations worldwide. First State Bank Shannon-Polo-Lake Carroll ATM card also allows you to access your checking and/or savings account with PIN (personal identification number) based transactions. With our ATM card you may also enjoy the benefits of inquiring on balances, withdrawing or transferring funds.You will be charged $1.00 for using your debit card or ATM card for cash withdrawals or transfers at ATMs we do not own or operate.
Possible charges for use of an ATM operated by other institutions: If you perform a transaction at an ATM that we do not operate, you may be charged, and you agree to pay, a fee to the operator of that machine. In addition, you may be charged, and you agree to pay, a fee to any national, regional or local network utilized to effect the transaction.

To report a lost or stolen ATM or VISA® debit card, please call 815-864-2111 in Shannon; 815-946-2777 in Polo or 815-864-2125 in Lake Carroll during normal business hours. After hours; you may call Shazam direct; 24/7 at 800-383-8000.
If you suspect fraud while traveling, you may call Shazam®; 24/7 at 866-508-2693. We recommend that you enter this phone number into “your contacts” on your cell phone in case you need to contact Shazam® or should you ever receive a phone call from their fraud department to determine if a transaction is valid.
