Shannon, IL- December 7, 2022- Robin Wilhelms Saar, President and CEO of First State Bank Shannon-Polo-Lake Carroll, has announced the promotion of Jeff Norton to Senior Vice President. Mr. Norton has 28 years of banking experience and began working at First State Bank in April 2008 as First Vice President. He has been managing our Lake Carroll Branch for nearly 15 years while being active in all areas of Lending and Credit Administration. In his new role Jeff will be the senior manager of our lending team with oversight responsibilities of Credit Administration and Lending Compliance. He will also continue his role as Branch Manager at our Lake Carroll location.
Jeff and his wife Angie live at Lake Carroll and have two daughters, Grace and Emma.
